This week had two main calorie challenges: drinks at the WordPress meetup and my brother-in-law’s 30th. That’s where planning came in. I tried to save enough of my weekly points to enjoy both events.
I think it was a success. I did enjoy my week, and I lost some weight. Next week is far less eventful, so if I can plan well again I should be able to lose more.
I chose some recipes last Sunday from the booklets I got from the meeting to cook during the week. Dave and I went to the supermarket, which was helpful, and I cooked extra serves for lunches and other dinners.
This week I have a bunch of vegetables from Farmers Direct, so I need to plan some meals to use those up.
